They work as human resources staff, managers, or staff in an industrial setting most of the time. They also work as teachers and counselors in schools, as psychologists in a clinic or hospitals, or in the government. Only a few of them work as psychologists in the military or police.The field of forensic psychology is just getting started in the Philippines. This study was done with the help of 35 forensic psychologists. 42.86% of them have a master’s degree and have worked in forensics for between one and five years (51.43 percent ).
Ateneo de Manila University (Diliman, Quezon City) is the country’s main national university. It has 26 CEOs, which is more than any other university in the Philippines. Students who want to major in psychology should have to take this class as an undergraduate. This would give them more options, and they might even decide to work in the military or the police force. The many fields of study and themes in criminology should be pushed to come together. Because of this, it is essential that the science of psychology, which has many uses, become more connected to other fields of study, like criminal justice, military psychology, sports psychology, health psychology, climate psychology, and so on.
Because of this, the field of forensic psychology is all about figuring out how people who are in some way connected to the legal system think and feel. Psychologists who work in the court system are often asked to do this evaluation. Even though forensic psychologists need to have advanced training in law and forensic psychology, clinical skills are thought to be the most important. When it comes to building the foundation for forensic psychology, skills like clinical examination, interviewing, report writing, good verbal communication (especially if you are an expert witness in court), and case presentation are all critical.
